The Appliance & Furniture Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of appliances, furniture, and mattresses while providing excellent customer service. This role represents Farm & Home Hardware in customers’ homes and requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong teamwork.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver appliances, furniture, and mattresses to customer homes
- Safely load, secure, and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
- Verify delivery paperwork and ensure orders are accurate before leaving the store
- Communicate with the delivery manager and sales team regarding schedules, delays, or issues
- Provide professional, courteous customer service during every delivery
- Inspect products for damage and report any concerns immediately
- Maintain delivery vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper lifting guidelines
- Assist with warehouse organization, staging, and incoming truck unloading as needed
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
